Marathon Digital购买1亿美元比特币，采用买入并持有策略

- Digital asset technology company Marathon Digital Holdings (NASDAQ:MARA) said on Thursday that it purchased $100M worth of bitcoin and is adopting a BTC Buy-and-Hold strategy.
- The company said it now holds over 20,000 BTC on its balance sheet.
- MARA shares were trading -3.00% pre-market.
- The company said it will adopt a "full HODL" approach towards its bitcoin treasury policy, effective immediately.
- As part of the Buy-and-Hold strategy, MARA will retain all bitcoin mined in its operations and periodically make strategic open market purchases.
- "We believe bitcoin is the world's best treasury reserve asset and support the idea of sovereign wealth funds holding it. We encourage governments and corporations to all hold bitcoin as a reserve asset," said CEO Fred Thiel.
