Purple整合其制造业务，裁员

- Mattress manufacturing company Purple Innovation (NASDAQ:PRPL) said on Thursday it is consolidating its production operations into its Georgia facility, and closing two manufacturing facilities in Utah.
- Purple (PRPL) also plans to reduce a number of positions at the corporate level.
- It anticipates the actions to generate $15M to $20M in EBITDA benefit in 2025.
- The mattress manufacturer also expects to incur restructuring costs of $35M to $45M, however it does not anticipate any impact to its full-year 2024 guidance targets.
- Closure of the Utah manufacturing facilities is expected to be completed during Q1 2025 and the consolidation into the Georgia facility by December 31st, 2024.
- Purple (PRPL) will remain headquartered in Utah with its 4 showrooms and also expects to open a distribution center there. It also plans to increase capacity at its Georgia manufacturing facility.
- Purple (PRPL) shares were up 2.61% during Thursday after-hours trading.
