Multi-cloud application security and delivery solutions provider F5 (NASDAQ:FFIV) said on Tuesday that executive vice president of global services and chief strategy officer Tom Fountain has been appointed COO.
FFIV shares were trading -0.30% Tuesday pre-market at $202.55.
Fountain will continue to oversee global services and lead the company's digital transformation.
Additionally, Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales Chad Whalen now takes on the role of chief revenue officer.
Also, F5 appointed chief technology officer Kunal Anand as chief technology and AI officer.
The new appointments, reporting to President and CEO François Locoh-Donou, are effective immediately.
Executive vice president and chief product officer, Kara Sprague, is set to leave the company in November to become CEO of a private technology company.
The company said it has launched an external search to replace Sprague.
