BOSTON (AP) _ Brookline Bancorp Inc. (BRKL) on Wednesday reported third-quarter net income of $22.6 million.
The Boston-based company said it had profit of 28 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for costs related to mergers and acquisitions and non-recurring costs, came to 29 cents per share.
The bank holding company posted revenue of $95.8 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $71.2 million.
Brookline shares have climbed 12% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $15.44, a rise of 1% in the last 12 months.
