Curtiss-Wright: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

DAVIDSON, N.C. (AP) _ Curtiss-Wright Corp. (CW) on Wednesday reported third-quarter earnings of $82.5 million.

The Davidson, North Carolina-based company said it had net income of $1.92 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were $1.95 per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.83 per share.

The engineering firm posted revenue of $614.9 million in the period, missing Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $620.2 million.

Curtiss-Wright expects full-year earnings in the range of $7.15 to $7.25 per share, with revenue in the range of $2.5 billion to $2.54 billion.

Curtiss-Wright shares have increased 28% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $130.96, a climb of 19% in the last 12 months.
