RMR Real Estate Income Fund (NYSEMKT:RIF) shareholders approve the fund's transition to a real estate investment trust that will originate and invest in first mortgage whole loans secured by middle market and transitional commercial real estate.
RIF is currently a registered investment company that makes equity investments in real estate companies.
