笛卡儿以1025万英镑收购BoxTop Technology

- Descartes Systems Group (NASDAQ:DSGX) acquired U.K.-based BoxTop Technologies for about £10.25M (about $13M) in cash to boost shipment management capabilities for logistics services providers.
- The Canadian company said BoxTop provides shipment management solutions for small- to mid-sized logistics services providers, or LSPs, and helps them to digitize their operations and connect to the wider logistics community.
- The company noted that BoxTop is an existing Descartes partner and uses the Descartes Global Logistics Network, or GLN, to help their clients with shipments and to complete electronic customs filings.
- "BoxTop has an excellent solution for small- to mid-sized LSPs, and we see an opportunity to integrate it with more solutions on the GLN," said Scott Sangster, General Manager Logistics Services Providers at Descartes.
