扎普城市摩托车获准在英国道路上行驶

• Zapp Electric Vehicles Group Limited (NASDAQ:ZAPP) shares were launched higher after the company’s i300 electric motorbike was approved by the UK Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency to operate on public roads in the UK. The i300 can now be sold to UK customers, expected to begin deliveries in August 2024.
• “Our business model is built for Zapp to scale rapidly, and these first sales will be another important milestone on the road to launching more widely in Europe,” founder and CEO Swin Chatsuwan said.
• The i300 was designed for city use, featuring a “step-through” scooter design using ocean recycled plastic. The base model is priced at £5750 after a government subsidy of £500.
• ZAPP was higher by 8% at midday.
