- Multi-cloud application security and delivery solutions provider F5 (NASDAQ:FFIV) said on Tuesday that executive vice president of global services and chief strategy officer Tom Fountain has been appointed COO.
- FFIV shares were trading -0.30% Tuesday pre-market at $202.55.
- Fountain will continue to oversee global services and lead the company's digital transformation.
- Additionally, Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales Chad Whalen now takes on the role of chief revenue officer.
- Also, F5 appointed chief technology officer Kunal Anand as chief technology and AI officer.
- The new appointments, reporting to President and CEO François Locoh-Donou, are effective immediately.
- Executive vice president and chief product officer, Kara Sprague, is set to leave the company in November to become CEO of a private technology company.
- The company said it has launched an external search to replace Sprague.
