• Shares of Build-A-Bear Workshop (NYSE:BBW) are higher in Wednesday’s after-hours trading after the company said it will buy back up to $100M in shares, and declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.20 per share.
• The new repurchase agreement replaces the previous buyback plan in which $6M was remaining. The board terminated the previous repurchase agreement when it adopted a new stock purchase program.
• The dividend is unchanged from the previous quarter and will be paid on October 10 to shareholders of record as of September 26.
• The company will conduct the repurchase and dividend payment with cash on hand.
