- Several Street firms lauded the results, with a consensus of bullishness for the insurer.
- "We believe that accelerated growth combined with strong auto margin performance will continue to drive elevated earnings growth through 2025," wrote William Blair's Adam Klauber, who has an outperform rating.
- J.P. Morgan's Jimmy Bhullar, who rates Progressive overweight, added that the positive results were due to robust margins, low attritional losses, and favorable reserve development."
- In late August, Seeking Alpha analyst Alexander Steinberg suggested investors load up on the stock on weakness.
